I’m Harrison Weru, a Kenyan data analyst dedicated to transforming raw data into meaningful stories that drive decisions. Over the past few years I've developed an extensive skill set to prepare for a future career in the tech industry. In particular I've had professional training in data science, project management, and technical writing. With a background in Economics and Statistics, I use data visualization, statistical methods, and machine learning to get insights out of data.
My love for data analysis started at Mount Kenya University where I took an econometrics class. It inspired me to start learning advanced excel, SPSS, Stata and R because of their capabilities to perform complex regression modelling at a faster and more accurate way. However, the data landscape is changing. AI and cloud computing are transforming the way data is accessed, transformed and analysed. Therefore, I have taken a deliberate step to enroll in Oracle's Data and AI learning paths to ensure my skills remain relevant.
In my GitHub profile, you can find the projects I have completed to demonstrate the application of different methods in practice. Connect with me to discuss the projects, potential collaborations or anything else.

Data wrangling is not glamorous but essential. Every strong analysis begins with clean data. I take pride in making raw data analysis-ready to ensure models and visualisations are built on solid ground.
I bridge the gap between raw data and real-world decisions by translating complex datasets into actionable insights, presented in dashboards to help users grasp key trends, patterns, and priorities at a glance.
It’s not enough to have insights, they must be understood to drive action. I am interested in turning insights into clear narratives and presentations that support decisions across technical and non-technical audiences alike.
